WHAT WE DO :

Animal Welfare Kennels and Cattery - 021 856 0597 - Mon-Fri 0900-1630 & Sat 0900-1230

We run the Animal Welfare Kennels and Cattery in Gordon's Bay. This provides a temporary home for stray and unwanted animals and a boarding facility for the Helderberg Basin. The venue provides the focus for our very successful re-homing service to caring new owners.

Mobile Clinic

We run a mobile clinic, covering the areas from Grabouw to Eerste Rivier including Macassar, Eerste Rivier, Nomzamo, Lwandle, Morkel Cottage (Strand), Tarentaal Plaas, Sun City and Garden Village.

General Care and Advice

We dip, innoculate, deworm and give mange injections as well as general advice on good animal care. We help the underprivilegeds' animals who need veterinary help by taking them to local clinics as required.

HOW WE DO IT:

Charity Shop - 021 852 2268

Our biggest fundraiser is our charity shop situated at 42 Reitz Street, Somerset West. We raise money by selling anything from teaspoons to lounge suites! The shop is run by volunteers who we thank, and filled by you with your very much appreciated unwanted goods.

Street Collections and Fetes

We have a Somerset West and Strand street collection every year and once a month at Pick 'n Pay. Twice a year we hold a fete at the N G Kerk in Andries Pretorius Street - always a success - perhaps you would like to help or run a stall?

Donations and Bequests

The public are very generous with money donations, either something when they can or a regular monthly donation which helps us considerably when planning our expenditure. Many people leave us bequests in their wills to help us to continue our care for underprivileged animals. These are very much appreciated
